Support for FEA and CFD

Support for FEA and CFD

Every day more and more users start their CFD and FEM simulations. Among them there are people who are very experienced of this type of simulations and people who are entering this world for the first time. The users of CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) software is actually increasing all over the world: this is due to a higher need of simulations to compete in terms of costs and efficiency of new products but also to new instruments, such as CAE tools on the CLOUD – and CONSELF is among them – that definitely reduced costs and knowledge required to enter the simulations world.

Obviously, as one may expect, if you are running simulations for the first time in your life, some errors could be made. Errors that could lead to results inconsistency or problems when you are meshing your input geometry. For this reason CONSELF is constantly committed to providing a great support service with an higher and higher number of features to be discovered. When running simulations in CONSELF you will never feel alone!

In this post we are going to analyse all the feature of this service, which is completely FREE to all users, regardless the subscription type you might have.

It is probably the first and most used service. During the most recent months we developed  a completely new manual , easier to use and as clear as never before. Always up-to-date with the application releases, it clearly describes all the functionalities of the application. Included in the manual there are also two interesting sections:

  • Tutorials -> some easy-to-do simulation that can introduce you to the CAE world of CONSELF
  • Validation -> a comparison of CONSELF CFD and FEA capabilities with experimental data

Having a quick look at this manual before starting any simulation is definitely our suggestion!

Very often it is underestimated, but our blog  represents to us an university of CAE. Through this blog, in fact, we constantly publish guidelines and tutorials to help users in their simulations. Unmissable if you want to start dealing with CONSELF but also with third-part software. An example? Recently the post-processing section had really a great success with people reading it and improving their knowledge of ParaView (the most common opensource post-processor for FEA and CFD).

So far we talked about instruments that are available to anyone. Now it’s the turn of a special service we though just for our users. Sometimes it may happens that a particular simulation you launched fails, or simply the simulation you run didn’t reached a high level of accuracy.

We believe so much in our application that when this situation occurs no credit is charged to the user and our support team get in touch with the customer to help him solving the problem. In this way you are guaranteed to reach high quality results in the shortest time ever, even if you are just an entry level in CFD and FEA.

Long webinars and online-tutorials can really be boring. Time and efficiency is a well known problem to our CAE analysts and we think similar problem are present in every company. For this reason we decided to publish a number of mini-tutorials, few minutes long youtube videos that help users dealing with simple problems such as geometry definition, post-processing and so on and so for.

A great support must also rely on people contact. Skype calls are the best way we found to get in personal contact with users and help them directly with the simulation, maybe also editing together the input geometry file or the simulation settings. You can reserve the conversation with our support team and, when the meeting start, you will be guided into the simulation literally step by step. And remember: very often during these calls our engineers can give you also design hints beyond the simple simulation!

Given all these services, you may now feel more confident of doing your simulations with a CAE tool. We are waiting for you with our FREE plan. Start with a registration and then sign up the 100% free WELCOME plan on this page.

CONSELF wants to make state of the art, cutting edge technology, available to every professional in the globe.

CFD & FEM simulation software is a very powerful tool, with its adoption optimization and innovation can be achieved in every field. To make this instrument accessible to everyone means lowering costs, but mainly to develop an infrastructure that favours a super-easy adoption by market new entrants.

CONSELF is highly committed and will pursue this goal working side by side with professional and industries to define the best strategies and solutions.
